In the early 1900’s families emigrating from Poland chose the Narol area
as their new home. Fourteen families held weekly Devotions in their
homes under the guidance of Reverend Father Bronislaw Kowalski.
In 1904 one acre of land was purchased as a Cemetery and a large wooden
cross was erected. In 1906 discussions about building a church were
held. In July 1906, construction of the church was started.On June 24,
1907, although not complete, the church was blessed. The church was
named Corpus Christi, which means “Body of Christ”.
In 1942 a larger church with a basement was completed.
In 1997 the present church was built to meet the needs of our ever expanding congregation.
